"In 2005 I was seconded to Business in the Community to coordinate Business Action on Homelessness for nine months. What an opportunity that was. The campaign allowed me to view the world from a different dimension – working with socially excluded groups to deliver opportunities not only at Cadbury but in other companies too.
The realm for enterprise and development was huge, I gained a greater understanding of a Corporate Responsibility programme, wider knowledge of Community networks in Birmingham, and a better understanding of job coaching, mentoring and skills for life. The new perspectives and skills that I gained from the campaign have helped me work in more creative ways in my current role in Corporate Communication."
