Cadbury have identified a gap in the market for a new chocolate pudding-bar – like a cake-bar but based on traditional British pudding recipes and incorporating chocolate, e.g. Treacle Tart, Lemon Sponge, Spotted Dick, Bread and Butter Pudding, Bakewell Tart.
Your task is to look at existing pudding recipes in recipe books or on the internet to find out how they are made and select one to develop into a new chocolate pudding bar.
You can print out and use the All change product development sheet provided as a template for your research and development.
When you have finished, write a product specification which could be used to make a prototype of the bar, and a design brief, which could be used to put together some designs for the packaging and a marketing campaign.
